Our non existent Spring Racing Carnival for 2020...

I know I am not alone in the mourning of our glorious Spring Racing Carnival and all of its frivolity!! How much we took for granted those days out with the girls in our new dresses, fascinators and shoes that shouldn't be worn on soft grass. I feel if we all knew what 2020 had in store, our racing efforts for 2019 would have been extremely over the top and extra fabulous!!! Alas, here we are in 2020 and watching the races on the telly at home in our boring house clothes with a cup of tea instead of a glass of champagne! 
So, to entice the brave race goers that are still attending small race meetings, I decided to style up a Spring Racing Shoot with my favourite photographer, Bonnie from Lilly At Dawn Photography. The point of the shoot was to show a minimal approach to race day fashions, as we as a society aren't in the mood to dress full glam for a day in which we have to stay seated!! I featured some of our new arrivals as well as some of the cool classics that were still in store from the previous season. All of these pieces can easily be styled differently to wear to again for other occasions in the future! #savvyshopping
